The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality’s Brownfields and Land Renewal Program is planning an outreach conference on October 21, 2010 at the Institute Conference Center, 150 Slayton Avenue, Danville, Virginia 24540.  Topics will include Brownfields Grant opportunities, using historic tax credits, Virginia’s Voluntary Remediation Program, and environmental cleanup topics, all coupled with economic development and land revitalization. 

The doors will open at 9:30 and sessions will start at 10:00.  A working lunch will be provided for all attendees and speakers as long as you register by October 14, 2010 so we can get a final headcount.  The conference will wrap up by 4:00 however time will be available for questions and answers to specific situations. 

We ask that you complete the registration so we can get a final headcount for the lunch and so that we can provide e-mail updates prior to the conference for the finalized agenda, last minute updates and an upcoming webinar. 

Please Note:  as of August 1, 2010 Google Maps provides an incorrect location for the Conference Center.  Attempts are being made to correct this problem.  Please refer Mapquest or to Microsoft Maps for directions or to the schematic map below for the event location.
